Referral ProcessCross Connections of Tippecanoe County desires to assist pastors by providing Christ-centered counseling to their parishioners. We invite pastors to refer any members they believe need professional help beyond the scope of pastoral care. Pastors should simply direct individuals to contact Cross Connections to begin the referral process.
Following an assessment to determine the client’s needs, we will match them with one of our licensed professional counselors. We will also ask the client if they feel comfortable including their pastor as a part of the counseling process. In collaboration, we will use evidence-based therapeutic techniques and counseling modalities to treat the client. We invite pastors to provide pastoral care and spiritual support according to their faith tradition. Active Duty Military and First Responders
If you are serving as Active Duty Military, or as a First Responder (Police Officer, Fire Fighter, or EMS), you and your immediate family (spouse and children) qualify for Professional Christ-Centered Counseling at a reduced rate here at Cross Connections of Tippecanoe County. We appreciate the service and sacrifice you offer this community each day, and we want to serve you in a meaningful way. Pastors Pastors, you minister to your congregation in many of their joys and sorrows. You hear their confession and pronounce absolution. You take on many of the burdens your members are experiencing as you meet with them pastorally. Sometimes those burdens are close to unbearable, and yet, you carry them. You carry this alone. Not even your family knows the burdens you carry. We are here for you. We are ethically bound to confidentiality. We want to help you process whatever it is in your family or church that you are experiencing. |
